These terms govern your use of Ghosty Setups (the “Service”), the website and tool available at ghostysetups.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Benjamin Prior (GoatGhosty), trading as Ghosty Setups (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Ghosty Setups provides recommended car setup values for the Formula 1 video game. The setups are suggestions that you choose to enter manually into the game yourself. The Service does not connect to, modify, automate, or interact with the game in any way, and does not include or distribute any game files, code, or assets.
Access to the tool is granted through a personal access code. Your code is for your own personal use and may be used on up to two of your own devices. You agree that you will not share, sell, publish, or transfer your code to anyone else.
We may suspend, reset, or revoke a code at any time — for example if we believe it is being shared or misused, or to protect the Service. Access codes have no cash value and are non-transferable.
The Service is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
The Service, including the tool, its design, the setup recommendations, the underlying calculations, and all baseline data, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws. The setups are original work derived from our own driving, testing, and judgement. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal use. No other rights are granted.
The setups are recommendations, provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee any particular lap time, race result, or performance, and results will vary with your hardware, driving, skill, and conditions. The game may be updated by its publisher at any time, which can change how setups behave. You use the Service and any setup entirely at your own discretion.
Where access to the Service is offered for a fee, the price and what it includes will be shown before you pay. Access is digital content that is supplied to you immediately on purchase.
By purchasing, you expressly request and consent to immediate supply of the digital content, and you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once supply has begun. Fees are therefore non-refundable once your access code has been issued.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If the digital content is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you retain your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement or refund. If something is wrong, contact us at contact@ghostysetups.com and we will put it right.
If your access code has not yet been issued or used, contact us and we will cancel and refund the purchase.
We provide the Service on a best-efforts basis and do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms; the current version will always be posted here with its “last updated” date, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you breach these terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
